This service is coordinated by MATW and covers the provision of financial hardship and assistance for small organisations (mosques and community groups) and stabilising organisational infrastructure of grassroots organisations (Quran schools, Women’s services, Domestic Violence services and other) affected by closure through the need to comply with social distancing requirements and restriction on operating non-essential services.
This may include financial assistance with rental costs, operating and maintenance costs, payment of utilities and other bills, access and subscriptions to online tools to facilitate online teaching and learning as well as the payment of small grants to compensate for the loss of collections during congregational prayers, etc.
