Background:  The owner has applied to Council to subdivide the existing large block into 7 smaller blocks, including the current block housing the existing dwelling.

M.R.G. Stance & Activities:  Due to the size of this property, M.R.G. did not oppose the basic concept, but were successful in negotiating several modifications to the original application, which effectively retained over 90% of the existing vegetation.  Negotiations have also effectively given some of the neighbours ‘first option’ to purchase some of the subdivided land, to add to their own properties, should they so choose.

Current Status:  Council approved the modified application – a satisfactory outcome for the applicant as well as for most of the residents concerned.
